Why should I rent?
Rentals are a way for owners to receive income from the investment,
it also helps to offset the yearly maintenance fees. The fees from
rentals are generally large enough to pay the maintenance fees for
the year and put some money in the owners pocket.
Who usually rents?
Today, the people interested in renting are generally families that
travel annually to vacation locations looking for an alternative
to high priced hotels and motel
rooms. Saving hundreds on accommodations allows these families
to enjoy some of the other local attractions.
How much do I get from
the rental fee? As an owner you receive 100% of the rental
fee agreed upon by you and the renter. There are no other fees associated
with renting your unit.
How does
Vacation Register market my vacation rental? Vacation Register
utilizes many different methods to advertise and market your time
share rentals. We have a page dedicated entirely to our time
share marketing program if you would like to read more information.
What about damages
while someone's renting my unit? Damages are handled just
like at a hotel or motel. A major credit card is secured by the
renter at time of check in as well as their personal information.
Additionally, the owner may make other arrangements with the renter
prior to the rental date to cover damages should any arise.
Can I take my unit
off the market? If you are currently renting with Vacation
Register and you wish to remove your unit from the rentals market
simply call one of our representatives to have it temporarily removed
from the section.
Can I put my
unit on the rental market while I try to sell? Vacation Register
encourages all its customers to list their property for rent while
they are trying to sell. What better way to put prospective buyers
in the property. Most times simply renting the time share provides
the renter with the info they need to make an informed decision.
Can I rent my banked
weeks with RCI or Interval International? Vacation Register
has a special page dedicated to RCI
and Interval International banked weeks. If you would like to
rent time share banked weeks with Vacation Register click
